2.8 Connectors

2.8.1 Rear panel connectors

1. PS/2 Mouse port (green). This port is for a PS/2 mouse.

2. Serial port (COM1). This port connects a modem, or other devices that

conform with serial specication. This serial port also supports RS-232 / RS-

422 / RS-485 connections.

3. Video Graphics Adapter (VGA) port. This 15-pin port is for a VGA monitor

or other VGA-compatible devices.

NOTE: Disable LVDS support when using only the VGA port. Refer to the

section on System Agent (SA) Conguration in Chapter 3 for details.
